Wrist Group strengthens its Ship Supply business

As of 1st October 2022, Peder Winther has joined Wrist Group in a new position as CEO for the Ship Supply business to prepare Wrist Group for the future and the delivery of an aggressive increase in turnover and EBITA by end 2026 through organic growth and M&A.

Noerresundby, Denmark – Peder Winther has joined Wrist Group October 1st as CEO for the Ship Supply business and will become part of the Global Management Team and the Executive Management together with Group CEO, Jens Holger Nielsen and Group CFO, Anders Skipper. Peder Winther will take the daily responsibility for the Ship Supply regions, Global Sales and Marketing, Global Procurement and Process Excellence.

The strengthening of the ship supply business is part of Wrist’s strategic initiatives for future growth.

“We have a unique market position, and as a Group we have – through a lot of hard work by the organization – been doing well the past few years despite Covid 19’s grip. Now, we want to take the next steps and prepare Wrist Group for the future and the delivery of an aggressive 4-year strategy plan that calls for doubling turnover and tripling EBITA by end 2026 through organic growth and M&A”, says Jens Holger Nielsen, Group CEO.

“Time has come to take the Ship Supply business on its next journey, and we have in Peder Winther found the right person to help us do exactly this”, continues Jens Holger Nielsen.

Peder comes from a distinguished career in shipping and logistics, most recently as CEO for CEVA Logistics Europe.

“There is an enormous potential in the Ship Supply business through further increased scope and scale leveraging our customer approach and global service further. A lot of work has been going into this through dedicated Customer, Process and Operational Excellence initiatives, and now we want to take this performance and service to our customers to the next level”, says Jens Holger Nielsen.
